Suncorp confirms insurance as breadwinner

SUNCORP METWAY has confirmed general insurance as its main breadwinner by appointing an undoubted top performer in this financial services sector from the UK, Patrick Snowball, as its managing director-CEO elect.

Mr Snowball has a 20-year successful history in the UK and European insurance industry after a successful career in the British Army.

He will take up his appointment on September 1 on a package of A$2 million plus and superannuation and family air fares for annual holidays in the UK.
